The work between the work.

Field notes
The spine. Then the momentum is yours.
01 / The spine

The world built the generator.
It didn't build the spine.

AI made more work, not less. The output arrives and the job still isn't finished. Someone has to move the context, check the answer, find the version, and hand it on.

We named that job Digital Fog. TransformBy10X is what we do about it.

We find the fog. We build somewhere for the fix to live. We keep the work moving.

Twenty years of marketing operations and project management taught us where handoffs break. The last three years we've been building with AI on the crew. Not a demo. A colleague.

What's missing isn't more output. It's the spine. We build it. Then the momentum is yours.

For the creative youth.

To all creative youth, from me, to you. With Love, EHB.

In your 20s and 30s you’re making your mistakes, having your heart breaks, building your career, trying to figure it all out who you’re supposed to be, but what you’re really doing is gathering material, collecting experiences, learning lessons you’ll not understand until much later. When you’re young life feels like everything matters so desperately much, that job you didn’t get, that person who rejected you, that mistake you made last week, it all feels like the end of the world because when you’re young, you feel like every moment is defining you, that every choice is permanent, that every failure is a judgment on your worth as a human being. But here is what nobody tells you: all of that judgment, all of that urgency, is the raw ore of wisdom being mined, not the finished sculpture being judged.

What they don’t tell you and what you cannot hear until the noise of your own ambition quiets is that your 20s and 30s are not the exam, they are the syllabus.

You are not failing, you are gathering.

Every humiliation teaches you the precise weight of pride.
Every heartbreak carves out a new chamber in your chest, making you capable of holding a deeper love when it finally arrives.
That job you lost taught you resilience.
That person who left taught you about the kind of love you actually need, not just the kind you desperately wanted.

The urgency you feel in youth, the sense that every choice is a door slamming shut forever, is a trick of perspective. From the narrow vantage point of youth, a closed door looks like a wall. But as you age, you step back and see the whole mansion of your life. You realize those closed doors were actually guiding you, gently and sometimes violently, toward the rooms you were always meant to inhabit.

What feels like a permanent judgment on your worth is merely a draft. A sketch. Life is written in pencil for the first few decades. You get to erase. You get to trace over old lines with a steadier hand.

The person you are at 22 is not the person who suffers that failure. It is the person who receives an experience that will, years later, turn into compassion for another struggling soul.

So yes, feel it all. Let it matter desperately, because that desperate caring is the engine of a fully lived life.
But hold, deep in your bones, a secret whispered by every older person who looks at you with a knowing, melancholic smile:

None of this is the final verdict. You are simply collecting the soil from which your eventual self will grow.

And one day, you will look at the garden you’ve become, thorns and blooms alike, and you will not regret the storms. You will thank them for the rain.

TBTX and PROOF, built in the open. The fog I’m still carrying, what held, and what didn’t.

  1. You can take this.

I split one company into two doors. Every time I left them in the same sentence, a person who wanted their day back got sold a meeting, or a company got handed a daily.

erikhbush.com is eight answers, then twenty minutes. transformby10x.ai is fifteen answers, then a meeting. The fifteen are the guide. They are not the agenda. The agenda is the friction they made visible. Which work is carrying it. Who absorbed it. What it costs to leave it there.

The booking holds the hour on my calendar and writes the Trace into it. It does not email the guest. The key is not allowed to send the invite. I add the person and the room. FaceTime, Zoom, or a phone. If I wait until tomorrow, the system looks finished and the person hears nothing.

The lines that almost shipped were the seller talking. Those are out. So is Fog-Lift. So is MAP YOURS.

I spent 12 months on the FLOW Agent AS journey building what I thought was an autonomous agent harness. If you look at the decks on The Hang, you can see every feature I mapped out: routing schemas, dynamic roles, agentic handoffs. It looked brilliant in Keynote. Then I tried to run real work through it. Turns out the models had helped me build a papier-mâché engine with no working combustion. It was fragile scaffolding. Scripts tripping over context, hallucinating handoffs, and requiring me to babysit every move. I had skipped the foundation and gone straight to the cockpit.

I had to get my own house in order. I culled the scaffolding. I stopped trying to invent an AI harness and went back to what 20 years in operations taught me: infrastructure is what scales. The Linux box, the deterministic boundaries, the clear human roles, and the database gates.

It wasn't until I got my infrastructure and the Quad Keystones in place, and became my own customer, that FLOW Agent AS began to materialize and the obstacles gave way. 10x leverage isn't a prompt. It's operational architecture: the code, the infrastructure, and the human roles that keep work from breaking at the handoff. The entire operating document is open. See what went into building it, measure your own effort, and use it to calibrate your road.

(And yes, there's a “you’re” in the film right before the orange slide that should be “your”, left intentionally to remind ourselves not to get lost in the minutia and lose sight of the forest.)

  2. The work door is a meeting.

Life has a daily: twenty minutes, one surface. Work has a trace, then a sit-down. The fifteen answers are the guide. The agenda is the friction the Trace made visible. We go through the PROOF together. That is the journey.

  3. BizBot Mrktng is not a door.

GROW is a closed beat. It shows where the path goes after the fix. It does not lead. I keep wanting to hang a link on it. That would invert the route.

  4. /proof is not a page yet.

Every public CTA already points at it. Right now it 302s into /bbai, which is the wrong room. I’m not moving the URL. The page comes after the hall film.

  5. The viewer readout shipped.

The Trace now shows the pattern, the pressure, the likely human repair, and the line: “This is what you reported, not what we measured.”
